A visit to The Apothecary is just what the doctor ordered!

The Apothecary is a line of candles inspired by turn of the century patent medicines. These nostrums and potions - often billed as "miracle cure-alls" - were sold by traveling charlatans and faux "doctors" despite their ingredients of questionable effectiveness or safety.

When making these candles, I looked to ingredients that were often used in those miracle nostrums and incorporated them in this line for scents reminiscent of potions of yore.

These candles’ “miracle claims” are obviously made in jest. Pleasant aromas are the only genuine claims this alchemist will make!

These transportive scents are then poured into cork-topped apothecary jars where the ethereal glow of the candles' flicker through the colored glass adds to the redolent ambiance.
